Original 19th Century Bennington Type Spittoon or Cuspidor with the typical brown speckled glaze that is referred to as "spatterware."  Approx. 6-1/2" wide X 3-1/2" tall.  Has foot pads on the bottom.  I have seen this design before, but not in the spatterware.  Excellent Condition!
