The Carter-Hoffmann CGM24 cheese melter is made of heavy-duty stainless steel with a removable panel that converts to a pass-through design. Its compact frame can be placed in a wide variety of locations, and it reduces power usage by half when idle to conserve energy. When items are placed inside the cooking chamber, it automatically activates at 100 percent power. Infrared quartz heating elements are protected by a guard cage. The Carter-Hoffmann CGM24 cheese melter has no moving parts, which helps with cleaning and increases durability. Its 4-inch legs can be adjusted to stabilize the unit on uneven surfaces.
