R-2 "Giant Bee" - an American special-purpose racing aircraft designed and built by the Granville brothers from Springfield. Called "Flying barrel" due to the characteristic (short and thick) shape of the fuselage.
R-2 was modified to participate in the races of the 1933 season. The original Wasp engine was installed on it with a new hood from R-1 and a new wing with a larger area equipped with landing shields.
The kit includes:
- 120 plastic parts
- decal (sticker)
- 1 frame made of transparent plastic
- scheme for painting the model
- detailed instructions in English
