Tu-144 (according to NATO codification Charger - Eng. Charger - attacking rider) is a Soviet supersonic passenger aircraft developed by Tupolev Design Bureau in the 1960s. Along with Concord, the Tu-144 is the first of two supersonic airliners that have ever been used by airlines for commercial transportation.
