    Racoon Models 1/48 1/48 Japanese Heavy Fighter Ki-108.
    The Ki-108 was developed from the Ki-102 "Randy" airframe and was designed as a single-seat, high-altitude, twin-engined interceptor to defend the Japanese Home Islands from B-29 raids.
    From the Small Garage company out of Kagamigahara, Japan in the late 80’s, Racoon Models are very basic, lacking interior detail, but very accurate. They combine resin parts and white-metal details. The very limited production kits focus on many Japanese "X-planes" and are known to be very rare items. Great for any collector or the experienced builder looking for something unusual. The kit is still in its original shrink wrap.
